Caitlin McTaggart, Marketing and Communications Manager, has been a part of the Universal Pediatrics team since 2021. From the moment she joined the team, Caitlin demonstrated a remarkable ability to take on new tasks and projects with enthusiasm and precision. With an understanding of organizational dynamics, she excels in implementing employee engagement initiatives that foster a collaborative and motivated work environment, managing everything from larger company events to our day-to-day SEO campaigns to generate brand awareness. Known for her organizational strength and creative vision, Caitlin is passionate about building strong, consistent messaging and loves collaborating with others to bring big ideas to life.
Caitlin is originally from Kansas City and made her way to Vail, Colorado, after finishing school. It was there she met her husband, Jordan, and where their daughter, Liv, was born. Fifteen years ago, they relocated to Jordan’s hometown of Des Moines, Iowa, with hopes of building their careers and giving Liv a Midwest upbringing. Today, Caitlin enjoys life in Des Moines with her husband, daughter, and their three beloved rescue dogs.

What excites you about your role with Universal Pediatrics? Knowing I work alongside people who have a true desire to do good and change the lives of children/families for the better.
What can you not live without? Coffee, my family (including the three dogs, of course!) and, always, Taylor Swift.
Which of our core ICARE values best represents you? Compassion & Excellence. Caitlin believes in putting families first, always, and consistently growing and learning so we can always be our best selves.
What is your favorite sports team? KC sports teams, Chiefs & Royals, and KU basketball. No matter the sport, I just hope both teams have fun!
