Abby Snoberger, Director of Nursing Operations, has been an exceptional addition to the Universal Pediatrics team. She has been a nurse since 2004 and has had a variety of roles in pediatric nursing ever since. Abby spent her first 10 years as a nurse working as a RN and Unit Care Coordinator when she obtained her Master’s in nursing and was then able to enhance her leadership skills by accepting roles as the Pediatric Clinical Manager, then a Home Care Director. Abby's passion as a leader is to assist in the development of teams and to empower others to achieve their professional goals. Abby grew up and still currently lives in Grimes with her husband, their two children ( a 16 & 12 year old) and their two dogs Marley and Maverick. Her free time is spent at the ballfields watching and cheering for her son, or championing her daughter's obsession with Taylor Swift. As a family, they also love supporting the Iowa Hawkeyes and Chicago White Sox.

What can you not live without? Family, my two dogs and sunshine!
What excites you about your role with Universal Pediatrics? I enjoy working with these amazing healthcare professionals that strive for excellence and show compassion in all that they do.
What is your favorite sports team? We are huge Iowa Hawkeye sports fans, my family and I love going to as many football games as possible to cheer on the Hawks. I am also a huge fan of the Chicago White Sox! I am the biggest fan of my son Carter and whatever team he may be on, you’ll find me cheering loud in the stands and supporting him and his teammates.
