We recently celebrated our latest DAISY Award Honoree, Hollie S., RN!
"Hollie has been our in-home nurse for our son for two years. Initially, I was very hesitant to allow a stranger into our home to care for our son, and I thought no one would/could care for him like me. After two years of having her, I can't imagine our life without her! Hollie routinely shows up to work 5-10 minutes early and is always willing to stay late if we need her to. She goes to middle school with him every day and assists him with all his needs during the day. She knows all his favorite things and has learned how to play the games he enjoys. She will even go outside to play soccer or kickball on a hot summer day. She has amazing communication with us and is quick to contact us if our son is showing any symptoms of illness or distress. Since having her, our son has required fewer hospitalizations and less sickness than before having her care for him. None of us could imagine going back to life without our favorite nurse, Hollie!"
